High Point Baptist Chapel Team Visits Peru

Pastor Steve Jaspers and six other members from High Point Baptist Chapel in Geigertown, PA came to minister to us.  It was a joy to receive them and we had fun serving our Lord together.

Debbie reads to Benjamin and Grace, the children of Katie, an American lady who lives in Lima.  Her children speak English.  Katie is good friends with Ruth.

The group at Fountain Park in Lima.  From left to right: Tim Kolb, Pastor Steve Jaspers, Debbie Marshall, Melissa Snyder, and Bev, Kaitlyn and Keith Sensenig.

We went on a boat ride in the Pacific Ocean.

Playing family and table games was one of the many fun things we did.

Keith Sensenig, Tim Kolb and Pastor Steve Jaspers found themselves a good hat to buy at the Indian market.  Ruth had them put on a rediculous look to stage a picture.  If they see this picture, they have Ruth to blame.

The group ministered in three different churches.

Kaitlyn and Melissa fed pelicans.

It was a special treat for Ruth when one of her good friends, Debbie Marshall, came with the group.

Pastor Steve preached the Word of God five times.  He has such a servant heart.

Missionary Allan Frey (left) translates for Keith.  Keith has an amazing testimony of how he came to Christ.

We want to express a special thanks to High Point Baptist Chapel and the family members of the team who stayed behind for sacrificing and sending the team to serve us.  What a blessing they were!
